Safeguarding statement
Everyone who takes part in a conversation deserves to feel safe, respected and treated with care. Conversations are private and confidential, and are conducted with attention to the dignity and wellbeing of each person.
If, during a conversation, there is a concern that a person may be at risk of serious harm to themselves or others, or that a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk, appropriate steps will be taken. This may include encouraging and supporting a person to seek help, and, where genuinely necessary, contacting the relevant services. The limits of confidentiality will always be explained honestly.
These conversations are not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact the emergency services on 999. For urgent mental health support in the United Kingdom, you can contact your GP, NHS 111, or the Samaritans on 116 123 at any time.
Safeguarding lead: [confirm name and contact]. Any safeguarding concern can be raised directly by email at email.
